As you all must have read or heard:

    so what happens to the stuff that is on my blog that does NOT transfer – does it just go off into never never land??

    This is kind of a sad time. Don\’t you remember how Spaces used to be a pretty active hub of people? Really thought Microsoft could have done a big overhaul for the site, given the improvements I\’ve been seeing with IE9, Bing, etc.

    @ Nguyen: I agree.@Just Linda. From what I know, you can back up your entire blog to your pc, and all blog post will get transfered. Things like gadgets, etc. wont.

    This is so sad. Some of my friends tried to transfer their blog to WordPress and it ended up they lost a lot of stuff on their spaces, i.e. all the links of their friends, which means they may lose contact with some of their friends forever.

    @ Helen ZI guess I will do a local back up first and transfer it to wordpress. I am not blogging anymore but as so much work had gone into this blog, I dont want to shut it either :(
